As the school year is coming to a close and summer is quickly approaching, new movies are gaining traction as students will not be in classes. Here is a list of some big films coming during summer 2022 for you to enjoy during your time off! 

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6, 2022) 

Start your summer off right with this fun, mystical movie that fans of all ages can enjoy! Dr. Stephen Strange accidentally opened a portal to the multiverse using a forbidden curse. However, an enemy that may be too big for his team to handle arises. With the help of both old and new allies, Dr. Strange travels into the multiverse to face his biggest challenge yet. This captivating film will take you to all different places as you go on the ride of your life alongside Dr. Strange and his band of magic misfits.

Top Gun: Maverick (May 27, 2022)

Maverick has “a need for speed” as excitement for this film is taking off. We’ve waited over 30 years for a sequel to the original 1986 Top Gun, and it is finally here. Get ready for this thrilling film where Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is in his element, soaring through the skies as a fighter jet pilot tester, while dodging advancement in rank that would make him truly grow up. While training new graduates, Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice. We are so excited to watch as this highly anticipated sequel takes flight this summer.

Jurassic World: Dominion (June 10, 2022)

A world where dinosaurs walk alongside human-kind is causing some major trouble in this final movie within the Jurassic World trilogy. While Owen and Claire try to deal with the carnage created by the prehistoric creatures, some familiar faces come along on the ride to help take down the dinos once again. Lightyear (June 17, 2022)

To infinity and beyond! This prequel to the original Toy Story movies is about the origin story of beloved action figure Buzz Lightyear and his adventures exploring the galaxy. As Buzz begins his first test flight to explore new galaxies for Star Command to come in peace, the space ranger learns many new lessons, and faces many new challenges. Thor: Love and Thunder (July 8, 2022)

Marvel fans assemble, in this sequel to Thor Ragnarok we find the god of lightning on a journey to find his inner peace. After trying to spend his retirement from the Guardians of the Galaxy team relaxing, Thor is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher. Gorr wants to see the extinction of all the gods, including Thor. Watch as our Thor wields his mighty hammer and fights off villains in this exciting and funny summer film!

DC League of Super-Pets (July 29, 2022)

Krypto the Superdog and Superman are inseparable best friends who do everything together. They even share the exact same superpowers and fight crime side by side in Metropolis. However, when the Man of Steel and the rest of the Justice League are mysteriously kidnapped, Krypto must convince a ragtag group of unequipped animals to master their new powers for a rescue mission.
