As the school year winds down, students have many new movies to look forward to. Between weekends, spring break and summer vacation, it’s the time of year for premieres!

A Quiet Place Part II

The first movie coming out this March is A Quiet Place Part II. This movie picks up after the first, as the Abbott family takes on completely new challenges and faces the terrors that roam the outside world. The family will quickly find out that the creatures aren’t the only dangers in the world, and being silent may no longer be enough. Be sure to catch this thrilling film in theaters March 20.

The second exciting movie coming out this March is Mulan. Mulan is the latest live action remake from Disney; however, it appears to be very different from the animated original. The new movie will not feature any of the songs from the cartoon or the beloved characters of Mushu and Li Shang. However, the new Mulan will be more historically accurate and a fierce, action-packed movie for the whole family. Check it out on March 27.

No Time to Die

The latest James Bond film was set to premiere on April 2; however, the premiere of the movie has been pushed back. After the appearance of the coronavirus, Universal and MGM Studios decided to delay the premiere of the film because of its global marketplace. Fearing that not enough profit would come in from the Asian box office due to the virus, the release date has been pushed back to November 25.

Trolls: World Tour

While No Time to Die won’t be hitting theaters for many more months, plenty of other movies will still be making their debut. Among these new summer movies is Trolls: World Tour. In this new movie, Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes and six different lands. These tribes each represent a different style of music. When the rock music tribe decides to destroy all music but their own, Poppy and Branch must unite all trolls in order to save all styles of music. Will music be saved? See for yourself when Trolls: World Tour hits theaters on April 10.

Black Widow

To the delight of Marvel fans, the third movie coming out this April is Black Widow, who is finally getting her own movie. Fans will finally be able to learn about her backstory and watch her new story unfold in the present day. Be sure to catch Black Widow when it hits theaters on April 24.

May is a month for new takes on old classics. One of the first movies to come out in May will be Scoob!, where Scooby-Doo and the gang are back to face their biggest challenge yet. The team must try to stop an evil ghost dog from being unleashed and creating a dog apocalypse. Along the way, the gang discovers that Scooby may have an epic destiny and secret legacy of his own. Be sure to see how the mystery unfolds when Scoob! hits theaters on May 15.

The latest from the Fast and Furious franchise, F9, is speeding into theaters on May 22 and is sure not to disappoint. This film once again follows Dominic and his crew as they face the most skilled assassin and driver yet, who happens to be Dominic’s brother. Be sure to race into theaters on May 22 and check it out.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run

Last but not least, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run also hits theaters in May. This timeless character will embark on a new adventure, alongside his best friend, in order to save Gary. The pair face many challenges along the way, as they also discover the true power of friendship.
